France has appointed a Generative AI Committee

The gradual arrival of artificial intelligence (AI) at the heart of our daily lives reveals a little more and more the potential of this technology and raises many questions, especially in the fields of ethics, economy, productivity, work, business organization or the industrial and digital sovereignty of States. The resulting technological and social upheavals prove that the battle for sovereignty requires the mastery of these technologies.

Consecutively, the Prime Minister of France inaugurated the Committee on Generative Artificial Intelligence on September 19, 2023. This Committee brings together actors from different sectors (cultural, economic, technological, research), to help inform the Government’s decisions and enable fruitful integration of AI.
